Attempted to open United Methodist Revised Common Lectionary
Program crashed.0486.Archive.zip
Lewis,
Do you also have the Logos 4 Windows product installed? The crash seems to be due to Documents which are being synced from your account in the background, not necessarily to Search or opening a Lectionary. That's why this appears to be random.
Tom,
Thanks for your response. I don't have any windows products installed on my Mac. I do have windows L4 installed on another windows compatible computer but the crash was on my mac.
2.53 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
One of the great new features in Logos 4 is synchronized data across Windows and Mac. So any documents (notes, clippings, reading plans, handouts, etc) you've created in windows, as well as the current position of any opened books or other resources, and custom guides (passage, exegetical) are automatically synchronized between your two computers.
Since you have documents you created in Windows, the Mac product is trying to pull those documents across and index them so that you can search their content on the Mac platform. The problem currently is that Documents are not yet implemented on Mac, which is why you can't create a new notes document, or reading plan, or handouts etc.
We don't have a quick work around for this issue, but we can put some code in place in the next Alpha which might prevent you from crashing going forward.
By the way, the crash you're experiencing is also the same one reported by Jack Caviness here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/8435/67100.aspx#67100
Thanks Tom,
We welcome any help or improvements!
Alpha 10 should contain a workaround for this until we get Documents implemented on Mac.
