Can the various Septuagint versions in LOGOS be searched for Greek root words? No problem searching for lemmas and no problems searching NT versions for both roots and lemmas but can't figure out how to search the Septuagint for roots.
Welcome to the forums. Usually the way to find the correct syntax is to run it from the context menu (right click). However:
If you open the context menu for the NA28 you see a root entry:
But if you do the same on the LXX there is no root entry i.e. there are no entry tags to search:
That is because the LXX is treated as a translation of the Hebrew rather than being treated as an original language text.
Thanks so much - that makes sense and explains why some of the LXX versions do give a root option but it is in Hebrew.
