iPad2 Freezes
I have an ipad2 running version 4.3.2 with 64gb of memory. App has worked fine until yesterday when I tried to download the NIB which was released on Thursday. The app will open but then it freezes when I try to search my library. I have deleted the app and restarted my ipad a number of times, with the same results. at the present, it wants me to download "Missing Books". When I tap on download, the library comes up. I try to search and it freezes again. I have even left it running all night but no success. Any thoughts or suggestions???

I have 49.9 GB available. I had most of my library downloaded about 8,000 books when i am able to see the library they show as not downloaded. Just got a message, "Missing Books" download.

That really isn't recommended. It causes problems, including irregularities and things like you are experiencing now. I only recommend downloading an entire library like yours to those in situations without internet (i.e. the mission field).

When you delete the app, you delete the books. You will have to redownload everything again. This is a VERY time consuming and active procedure. When downloading so many books, you will probably have to baby the download. Again, this is one reason why I don't recommend it.
My suggestion:
- Delete the app from your device again.
- Go to Logos.com and click on your account settings.
- On the left side of the account settings page, click "mobile devices"
- Delete your iPad device(s)
- Redownload the app from the app store
- A new "device" <should> be created for you.
- Only download what you really need. If you really want to download everything, do it in small batches as you have time. You can filter your library in various ways and download subsets.
FWIW - When I tell people not to download a ton of books, people interpret how many books is "too many" differently. I have about 200 books downloaded without any problems.

Thanks Alabama24 for your help. I will do just that as I have a Surface Pro2 which has my complete library. Again, thanks for your help.

Just an update Alabama24,
I contacted Customer Support and was informed that I had to uncheck all the books in my library which is on my desktop so the app would not try to download them. They showed me a quick way by going to my library and after clicking in an empty space on the first book, do a "ctrl+A (PC) and after the library turns blue, click on the information button and then "clear all". This will de-select all the mobile devices and prevent downloading of my entire collection.
I am taking your advice and will only download the books I want to use at that time and leave the rest. Thanks again for your help.[Y]
