Timeline disabled in Logos 5 - Portfolio Package

I have Logos 5 with Portfolio Base Package, which definitely should include timeline resources.

If I go to "Tools", "Timeline" I get the error "Timeline is currently disabled because the necessary resource is unavailable", so I can't use the Timeline function of Logos. However, I can access several timeline resources separately from the library, but I cannot get them together in the way described above.

I've read somewhere that I should finish my downloads, which I did. So at the moment my Logos is completely up to date (version 5.2a SR-7) and all resources are downloaded, updated, installed and indexed.

Any solution would be appreciated!

Sorry to hear you are having problems

In another thread - http://community.logos.com/forums/p/84899/595793.aspx#595793 - Tommy (from Logos) suggested checking version numbers of the timeline resource and running the command "update resources"

Worth checking out - please let us know what you find out.

First of all welcome to the forums and congratulations on your fine purchase. I trust you will find these forums very useful.

Understanding what you have stated above all should be a go here. So humor me. Close Logos. Restart your computer and then restart Logos and then try again. If that doesn't work I haven't got a clue.

Thanks Graham, I did the "update resources" and it works! I had thought that I had already updated everything, but for any reason some 17mb wasn't included in the last update I had performed.

Anyway, it's working now and thanks all for helping!
