I'm with you, Lynden. It's seems that this would be more popular than the bids indicate. [:S]
I'm in at a little over $3 a volume and think it's a good value at that. [:)]

Maybe the set can be split in two. Logos, please do not ship the two the same month.

Thanks Lynden for trying to get this going again. I have been in at $30 since 2012 but just raised my bid to $50 with the hope that others will raise their bids too.

This CP is a big mystery. Think of all the various potential uses people might make of the texts using the Text Comparison tool, etc.
Plus, rumor has it, they're in 'english'. Typically, you type the english in. Then you're done. Charge $39 for each one after the CP's gone. All gravy; no royalties.
So clearly there has to be a factor that makes the CP unbelievably expensive. My guess is 'spelling'. There's no spell checker on the face of the green planet that could handle those early versions. Every spelling error could be correct. Or not. How would you proof it. Type it in again!

I bid $50 awhile back. Bible translations should be a front burner priority with Logos. Even on the oldies.

Most Bibles are available for $10. The "regular price" shown on the product page is $169.95 or 6.29 / volume. Current projected price is $1.11 / volume or 18% of the regular price. I fail to see the "unbelievably expensive" evidence but could be enticed into "unbelievable cheapskates" or "totally disinterested".

Like mab, I bid $50 some time ago and am happy with that price to get these resources.
I must admit to be a bit surprised that this one hasn't taken off [:O]

MJ ... hopefully I haven't misunderstood you comment. I'm assuming there's considerable bidding, and thus the cost assigned the project is considerable ('unbelivably expensive'), especially the older volumes.
That said, I still think a $39 retail would pay off handsomely for Logos (not speaking to the CP bidding currently) given so many historic versions that can be compared/analyzed.

Ah, this is where our assumptions differ. [:)]

This product has the 4th highest number of bidders of all CP projects. You can check this by looking at bestselling order. Your bid would need to be about $80, like my bid, for it to go to production.

Logos have to look at this, perhaps releasing to either prepub or community pricing individually.
Some of these items would receive considerable interest individually and it is hideous hole in the Logos infrastructure not to have them available, almost shameful.

I think the shame-ification would be a tough cookie to break. Take for example Alexander Campbell's version. Actually, he was the first of three translators.
So if you like Philip Doddridge, of course you'd want the 'Campbell' translation:

It's also kind of interesting not many are willing to bid above $1/translation. Hard to argue with that little factoid. I think I'm in that group, if I'm not mistaken. Probably I should raise my bid like Michael.
