HI Greg
Some things from your indexer log:
08/12/2014 07:38:50 | INFO | 12 | IndexerProgram | Received check command event; processing command. 08/12/2014 07:38:50 | INFO | 12 | IndexerProgram | Next command is EnterDownloadOnlyMode. 08/12/2014 07:38:50 | INFO | 12 | IndexerProgram | Entering download-only mode. 08/12/2014 07:38:50 | INFO | 12 | IndexerProgram | Discovery or indexing was running; canceling it.
So something happened to cancel indexing
08/12/2014 07:38:50 | INFO | 20 | LibraryIndex | Indexing was canceled; stopping thread. 08/12/2014 07:38:50 | INFO | 17 | LibraryIndex | (Timed) Attempting to replace index '/Users/ghub/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/8g0bonkl.ad1/LibraryIndex/index' with new index '/Users/ghub/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/8g0bonkl.ad1/LibraryIndex/index-build'. 08/12/2014 07:38:50 | INFO | 17 | LibraryIndex | (0ms) Attempting to replace index '/Users/ghub/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/8g0bonkl.ad1/LibraryIndex/index' with new index '/Users/ghub/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/8g0bonkl.ad1/LibraryIndex/index-build'. 08/12/2014 07:38:50 | INFO | 17 | LibraryIndex | Library indexing canceled, failed, or ran out of storage space; deleting temporary files.
What free space do you have available on the disk holding your Logos installation?
08/12/2014 07:38:50 | INFO | 7 | IndexerProgram | Setting status to NotRunning 08/12/2014 07:38:54 | INFO | 6 | IndexerProgram | WaitUntilDownloadTime: Outside of downloading time window, canceling current downloads, new download time: 08/13/2014 00:00:00 08/12/2014 07:38:54 | INFO | 6 | IndexerProgram | WaitUntilDownloadTime: Waiting to download for 16.35 hours 08/12/2014 07:38:54 | INFO | 6 | IndexerProgram | Setting status to WaitingToDownload
It is waiting to download as opposed to carrying on indexing
Do you know if any new resources were downloaded while the indexing process was going on?
What happens if you try and finish indexing while offline?
Graham
It looks like you have your system set up to only download updates between midnight and (not sure). The indexer is cancelling indexing while it waits for the download to happen. But if you don't have your computer running at midnight, it may never download.
I suggest turning off the download window (in Program Settings) then let the download and index occur. Once it finishes, you can re-set the download window (if desired).
