Does anyone have these? Even though they're old, would you suggest them or something else within Logos?
Near Eastern Studies Collection, Morris Jastrow.
I have them from CP. The only reason I didn't 'hide' them for many years was just the 'hope' for Jastrow's dictionary. If everyone hid Jastrow, Logos might not produce Jastrow. More seriously, there's so much more recent archaeology in the area, it's a tough purchase. $100 for a single recent volume would be better.
And to illustrate, Jastrow and Ramsay came out at about the same time in Logos. I still use Ramsay heavily (and am quite surprised too). Jastrow's dictionary is fun reading. But the other Jastrow's?
