DOUBLE BUG: Calendar feature in Lectionary vs. Saint

I would expect the calendar feature in these two home page sidebar elements to work in the same way. However, the lectionary is far more useful than the saints

Lectionary calendar indicates today's date and the date currently selected. Note also it's coversion of Aug 8 to "last Friday".

The Saints' calendar gives me only a highlight of the date currently selected:

Please fix/changes the Saints' calendar to give me today's date and, preferably, convert Aug 8 into meaningful words.

EDIT: Note that changing the date by the arrow heads on saints also takes you to 2013.

How exactly do you expect Logos to mark today's date on a calendar for August 2013?[:D][:P]

a) The chosen date is the more highlighted, and today's date is the more discreetly marked. Much better!

b) Your dark orange is just plain ugly.

The top of the popup looks much nicer for you, though, with the full name of the month, arrows at the corners, and weekdays in black (but I prefer my one letter abbreviations and line). Wait! Those are Swedish abbreviations, not English. Logos is using my OS settings instead of my Logos settings. That's a bug. Let's see if they pick it up here, or if I have to start a separate thread.

As you can see, it already does that when you're in the right year. Contrary to you, however, I would prefer that it didn't. 'Last Friday' tells me nothing. 'August 8' tells me 'St Dominic'. It may not matter to you, who can see the correct saint just below anyway, but it does matter to me, for whom the dates are the only hints to possible Swedish saints.
