Typing "Update resources" in the search bar still doesnt work

I typed "Update resources" like the post above mentions for logos 4 alpha 9 and it searches and wont let me click on the results.
I am certainly missing resources.
Thanks

Dan,
When you type into the command bar, you'll need to manually click on the "Update resources" option. It will highlight in blue when you mouse over it. You won't get any immediate feedback from the app, but you will probably see the indexer start up when the resources start downloading. Look for the little blue icon. You can also open your Logos4.log to see what's going on.

It works if you make sure to click on the right option. Please watch this video

If you've updated the nlog.config file from Joe's tutorial (the link is fixed BTW), you can open your Indexer.log while the downloads are happening and see what is being downloaded.

Thanks for the video, Joe. Like David I too was unaware that after clicking on the "update resources" command there is no indication that L4 is doing anything in the background. Several times after executing the "update resources" command I closed the program thinking that the command had already checked for updates and found none. After re-trying the command today and allowing for a long pause afterward, I discovered that I was missing 1.69 gigs of resources.
If the Mac devs are reading this, by way of feature suggestions, I think it would be great to have some sort of visual feedback upon executing this command (and other command-bar commands) instead of a long blank pause. During the pause the user has no way of knowing whether or not there is an update to be had or whether the command has finished executing, etc. . . .

Laurence,
Thanks for the suggestion. The Windows product does have this, and it's on our "TO-DO" list for the Mac product.

I did this and it still didn't give me my intended books.
It worked and downloaded so me stuff. I let it index and the resources I was supposed to have are still missing.

Can I ask what resources you were looking for? Where they resources that should have been in a Logos 4 base package you purchased or were they resources from a previous Logos 3 (or LDLS 1.2.2 Mac) installation?
