Should a Bible search return hits against footnotes?

I did a Bible search on my iPad for "God NEAR wrath" in Romans and got the results shown:

The word wrath doesn't appear in the text of Romans 3:25 but in the footnote as shown below (search carried out on Logos 5 which doesn't return a hit on that verse)

I don't believe Logos 5 Bible search checks for footnotes - but it looks like they are being checked in the backend search for the mobile apps.

Presumably they should return consistent results?

which - assuming you are referring to the Logos app on a Kindle device - makes sense as they use the same backend search engine.

And I have just verified this on my Android phone using the Logos app
