Sermon Series not progressing as expected

I have tried several times to delve into one of Tim Keller's sermon series.  I complete reading the first one and then am surprised to find that the next sermon which is displayed is not the next sermon.  It is neither the next sermon within the series or chronologically.  Has anyone else encountered this problem?  Hoping for your help.

Could you tell us which sermons in particular you're experiencing this with?

This has not been my experience with the Keller sermon archive. For instance the most recent sermon series I read from that resource were the sermons that became the book The Reason for God. They are all in order in the fall of 2006.

Well, yours was a great question which is shedding a little more light on the situation.

If you examine the sermon list for 1995, the first eight sermons listed, for example, are from several different series.  Looking a little more closely I see that beginning on January 15 (and through May 28) two sermons are listed for each Sunday.  They are from different series:  for example, The 7 Deadly Sins and 1 John, Part 1 both on January 22.

It is helpful to hear that in your experience the sermons progress as one would expect.

I believe I heard in a Keller interview that he was preaching at 6 different venues every Sunday and that not all were getting the same sermon. If he was concurrently preaching two different series (similar to how many pastors preach separate Sunday morning and Sunday evening sermons) you might get a back-and-forth chronology because that is the true order in which they were preached.
