I've been thinking of ways to deliver religious education/faith formation.catechisis to members of the congregation that are (a) homebound (b) whose work, distance or weather limits their ability to participate (c) need translations .... let me know of other categories in your ministries.
It seems to me that the ability to put denominationally produced study materials, church/teacher study materials ... online in Faithlife and allow users to (a) enter answers (b) attach notes (c) engage in online discussion with fellow church members preferably under the guidance of a "Sunday School teacher" would be a good way to keep absent members feeling connected to the Church. If it also supplemented what was done on site, one could keep enough active church members aboard to ensure the groups were viable.
What this translates to is a much smaller vision of the long promised PB store ... namely shared PB's within a Faithlife Group. With a few glitches Logos produced study materials already can be made to work in this environment.
