5.2b Service Release 1 (5.2.2.1496) extracting but not installing on Mac

Having trouble installing update on my Macbook pro retina. File extracts but after doing restart I get the message below...

"Update Error!

An error occurred while installing the update. Please try again later."

Strange as this is the first time I've encountered this issue. Thoughts? Advice?

Does upgrade complete after restarting OS X ?

One thought is attaching Logos diagnostic log files to this thread => https://www.logos.com/support/logos5/mac/problem

Another thought is downloading Logos 5 => https://www.logos.com/support/logos5/mac/install followed by manually replacing (upgrading) application.

The update downloads but crashes when it's extracted. So not sure if that qualifies as upgrading. I would say it doesn't upgrade. I will try your solution. Leaving logs has always intimidated me. This incident is strange in that I can simply close the updater w/o affecting the program at all and no log is left. So at present, I'm going along my merry L5 way sans the latest update.

I had the same problem, so I restarted my computer and tried again. It worked as expected after the restart.
