Proverbs in the NET Bible for Android is painfully slow
I have a top of the line new Samsung tablet 10.1.... Logos is fast, except when accessing the Proverbs in the NET bible. I think the hundreds of footnotes may have something to do with it, but it takes 30-60 seconds to interact with a page, or flip a page....
Something needs to be done....

Derek,
Is the NET Bible downloaded locally or are you accessing it remotely?

My HP Touchpad running CyanogenMod (Android 4.4.4) has the same issue as does my Google Nexus 4 running 4.4.4. Basically, every device I own reproduces this problem. Almost a minute to open Proverbs 18 on my Nexus 4....
I timed it... 45 seconds to open a large text screen on my nexus 4. Decreasing the text size results in 2.5 minutes to open a page. On the touchpad tablet I also had 2.5 minutes to open a page.... (2 minutes almost exactly 30 seconds...)0 -

Hi Derek, can you please answer the following?
- Is the NET resource downloaded locally
- If so, are you offline or online when the problem occurs
- Do you have Show footnotes Notes enabled
- Do you have Community Notes enabled
- Do you have Notes enabled0 -
1. The NET resource and the NET Notes are downloaded locally.
2. I am online when the problem occurs. On my tablets I am on the network (Fiber optic). On my phone I'm on ATT's 4G network.
3. Show footnotes is disabled.
4. Community notes is enabled
5. Notes are enabledI disabled notes and community notes and it still took a LONG time to display a full page. But it may have been a few seconds shorter.
I tried disabling my wireles and it still took a LONG time to disolay the page.
I tried deleting the NET resource and the NET NOTES resource and tried accessing it via wifi and it still took 1 minute 58 seconds to display the page.
It appears to be unrelated to being downloaded or not, whether I'm online or not, and whether I have community notes or Notes enabled.

We can see from your logs that there are indeed navigation delays up to 50 seconds and we're trying to determine why.
