Has there been any attempt to organize a small group to work on a large Personal Book project?
(Of course, I talking about public domain material that Logos does not sell.)
I was looking at making a Personal Book of the 3 volumes of The Journal of Francis Asbury, and that would not be so hard, except that it requires quite a bit of editing and formatting on each volume. It occured to me that there should be a way for those who share an interest in a particular resource to pool their work. One could do Volume one, another Volume two, etc.
Just a thought that we could really produce some great Personal Books of material not available otherwise if we worked together. You could not legally work together on material still under copyright, but you could on Public Domain material, or material that you had permission to use.
Has this been done? Are there reasons not to do it?
