I searched but I couldn't find much on this. What is the general consensus on this resource?
I was considering picking it up in the Chaplain's Library since it only costs about $20 more for me.
The collections of Quotes are nice, but you will have to make a custom collection to search them. Unbelievably they do not show up in the “Illustration” section of the Guides. [:^)]
The Study, Apply, Share books has some very basic commentary, a nice quick summery. There are links to other book that you may or may not have in your library. There are some very well done Power Point slides. Most seem better suited for teacher rather than preaching.
The Chaplin collection has some other good resources in it. I think as part of the Chaplin package the Pastorum series is a good addition. I personally would not purchase them separately.
Thanks Keith, that's quite helpful information. By the way, do you happen to know if the Opening Up Commentary that comes with Chaplain's is the 37 vol. updated set or the original 30 vol. set that came with the original L5 base packages?
Just as a follow up if anyone is interested, it appears that Chaplain's Library contains the 37 vols. of the Opening Up Commentary according to the product page: https://www.logos.com/product/27251/opening-up-commentary-collection
