I am happy to see the German Bible Society Bundle on sale with the Back-to-School 2014 sale. Anyone have thoughts on how important of a resource this is? It's always been frustrating to me that I have to pull out a hardcopy of a Hebrew or Greek Bible when I want an apparatus, but so far that hasn't been often enough that I've been able to justify spending the $$ to buy apparatuses on Logos. I wonder ....
- If I purchase this, will I find occurrences of words that I am not finding in textual searches currently because the apparatuses are morphologically tagged? This would be a big advantage.
- How important is BHQ? I currently use BHS for everything. My specialty is New Testament, so I haven't seen a switch to BHQ as being important yet, but I also don't know how much of a difference there is.
- How important is Plisch's commentary on the Gospel of Thomas? I haven't gotten to look at it yet, but I am very interested in research on the Gospel of Thomas.
- Has anyone been finding the other resources in this set useful? If all I need is a commentary on Thomas, I can get that a lot cheaper than this whole set would cost me. I do read German, but the German resources here don't look particularly exciting to me.
