Constant buffering

I have a newer macbook pro with SSD and i7 processor and 6gb RAM. I have been able to run Logos 4 and now Logos 5 with almost no perceived buffering outside of startup, which is fast. In the last week or so my Logos constantly buffers as I am scrolling through a bible. Yes I have multiple panes linked and I downsized the number of resources and bibles linked by 50% with the same buffering issue present. This is very agrivating and not at all acceptable given the speed of my machine and the past seamless (non-buffering) operation. Please help.

Clayton, I'm just bumping this back up to the top, with the added question, did you try a re-start, and if so, was it the same behavior? You kind of imply you've re-started several times.

I'm not on the Mac, but on the Windows side, Logos keeps growing in memory consumption, not only requiring a Logos restart but Windows as well to clear it.

Yes, I have restarted logos multiple times, checked for updates manually, received updates automatically, and I have restarted my computer several times over the last week or so too. Thanks

Can you post a screenshot of an example layout this happens in? Do you have a lot of notes or visual filters or highlights on the books that are open?

I have only a 4 panels open now, I have turned off all of my visual filters and highlights, and rarely use notes. I normally run logos with well over a dozen dictionaries, commentaries, and bibles active and linked with visual filters in the hebrew, greek, and selective english text. I have never had a problem until about a week ago. Screenshot wont help determine anything I haven't stated, other than seeing Logos 5 on a Mac.

What version of Logos 5 ? Logos 5.2b SR-1 (5.2.2.1496) was released on 15 Aug, which was followed by Logos 5.2b SR-2 (5.2.2.1512) release today.

Another possibility is SSD degradation. So, I ended up downloading a program that repaired permissions and cleaned the various cache(s) and that corrected my problem, as well as optimized SSD. I think its running better than it has since 5 upgrade and my aftermarket samsung SSD install in January, which made Logos function awesome for me.
