Ancient Records of Egypt (5 vols.) tagging question

Can anyone tell me if James Breasted's Ancient Records of Egypt (5 vols.) is tagged appropriately to other Logos resources such as ANET, COS, Ancient Egyptian Literature or anything else?

Are you asking about tagging from Breasted to the other resources (which your first post suggests), or tagging from 'newer' works to Breasted (which your second post asks)?

Either way, it's very rare that Logos adds tagging or milestones that aren't there in the original. AFAIK it's only happened a handful of resources that having more than one standard referencing system (e.g. Josephus, DSS, some lexicons).

For a seminal work like Breasted not to be tagged is an oversight, IMHO. Like I said, I'm not sure how hard it would be to have Breasted tagged TO other ANE works or for ANE resources to be tagged TO Breasted.

Thinking about what you said regarding "it's very rare that Logos adds tagging...that aren't there in the original...." Isn't Josephus tagged? I know newer works are tagged to it. So why not newer works tagged to Breasted? Or is that different?

Are you asking about tagging from Breasted to the other resources (which your first post suggests), or tagging from 'newer' works to Breasted (which your second post asks)?

I think the meaning of "tagging" is a bit unclear here, as there are various uses of this in the logoverse [including MyTags and CommunityTags in the library which you didn't discuss here].

There are some concepts.

Reference links: An author cites another work - we'd like to see this linked, text from the cited work shown in a popup on mouse-over and be able to go there with a click. Obviously a work from the beginning of the 20th century can't cite a work that was written later, only the other way round. Logos tends to include links only to already existing resources, sometimes not even those, and then only when a location in the work is cited directly. Moreover, even exiting reference links don't work in many cases due to a longstanding bug.
Logos sometimes reworks a resource and includes more such links - but all this requires that the author directly referenced another work.
It seems Mark referred to reference links.
Datatypes: A literary work is assigned a datatype by Logos (much like the bible's chapters and verses) and may referenced by this datatype - thus we can call up our highest prioritized edition of e.g. the Didache. A plethora of such datatypes exist - for works where Logos carries or envisioned to carry multiple editions of. Unfortunately in many cases Logos did not foresee this, or didn't follow through on that, or had resources prepared by third parties... so there are mayn works that should have a datatype but either there is no or (even worse) this datatype is not applied.
I don't know if there are datatypes for old Egyptian works (I could imagine some, such as the Psalm of Echnaton) and I don't know if such are applied to Breasted - one may look up the info page of the resources in question and check it out (often people drop by and ask for page indexes - functionality in Logos would require datatypes instead).
It seems, Milkman asks whether there are datatypes for Old Egyptian works and if those are applied to Breasted and the other resources.
EDIT: Milestones - Navigating in resources and referencing them from other resources is facilitated by milestones. This again works comparabel to bible verses. For some very widespread resources, there is more than one way to canonically cite them (e.g. one edition cited by paragraphs, another by chapter, so that Edition A locates a certain section at paragraph 17 wheras Edition B locates the same at Chapter 3. In rare cases, Logos facilitates both.
Mark's last post above seems to refers to such milestones. /EDIT
