I cannot find a few resources L4 Platnum says it provides. So far I have found four:
Open Door on John
Open door on Mark
Discovering John
Church Administration: Effective Leadership for Ministry
I have Platinum and all these resources. Perhaps if you put 'Update Resources' in the command bar, hit Enter, and wait for the program to compare your resources to what you should have it will discover them and download them.
If not, we'll have to dig deeper.
Same problem here: 2 Laptops with L4 Platinum and missing these resources on both.
I tried the 'Update Resources' and scanning my resources directory (in case they did not get cataloged for some reason), and that did not resolve the problem. Kind of makes me wonder if I am missing others, but I do not have the time to crosscheck at this point.

Looks like the next step might be to go to the Logos ftp site ftp://ftp.logos.com/lbxbooks/ and download the books to a place on your hard drive (not the final resources folder) and scan that folder to see if they are brought in.
Thanks Mark for the suggestion! I did something similar I should have thought of before. I also ordered the DVD when I made the L4 purchase. I popped it in and scanned the resource folder on it. Logos is now reindexing because it found seven books that were not downloaded when I first installed L4.
I'm glad; now I have figure out which books did not download. I'm still wondering if I may be missing some resources though that may not have fit on the DVD. After all, I did not know I was missing 7.
Thanks again,
Wow..I am going to show my great ignorance and profess I haven't a clue what you are talking about ;o) I, like Brent, ordered a DVD with my L4 so I guess it is better to wait until it comes in the mail.
After comparing lists of my resources, I actually gained eight resources scanning the DVD:
131 Christians Everyone Should KnowChurch Administration: Effective Leadership for MinistryDiscovering JohnHarmony of the GospelsOpen Door on JohnOpen Door on MarkThe English-Greek Reverse Interlinear New Testament New Living TranslationZondervan Dictionary of Bible Themes
William, when you get your DVD put it in your DVD drive and then in Logos type: Scan X:\Setup\Resources in the command bar. Be sure to replace 'X' with whatever your DVD drive letter is. Then restart Logos. It will scan the resources on the DVD and add the missing ones to your library.
I am still left with 2 questions:
That's a good suggestion. Even though they may be .lbxlls files they can be scanned into L4 (scan <folder> in Command bar) which should then download the *.logos4 equivalents! If they don't scan it suggests something is wrong with your licence.
The trick is knowing the filenames:
OPENDOORJN.logos4OPENDOORMK.logos4CHADMNLDRSHP.logos4DISCOVRGJHN.logos4
The English-Greek Reverse Interlinear New Testament New Living Translation
The NLT interlinear NT was just made available in the past week or so.
Thanks for the clarification, Mike. So the number installed from the DVD is seven. The previous bibliographic list I had must have been before the NLT download.
Just want to say thanks for the help. The learning curve is steep but the climb is worth it!
