L5 Diamond and Baptist Diamond Question

I'm currently on L5 Platinum. Eventually, I want to slowly upgrade into Diamond, then Portfolio (as funds permit).

I now see that Logos has released new Baptist Collections (as well as other denominations).

Here's my question:

Does Baptist Diamond have all the same resources as L5 Diamond? Or would I need to get L5 Diamond, then top it off with Baptist Diamond?

I believe someone like you can discover the contents of each on the Logos web site and compare them. Brief answer: no. They are very different collections. Baptist Diamond is not an enhanced Logos 5 Diamond if that is what you may be thinking.

What overlap there may be will be reflected through dynamic pricing after you have purchased one or the other.

Thanks for the info. I am looking at the Logos.com/Upgrade site to better nail down the actual titles, but that did answer my question. I was curious as if the new denominational packages were enhanced versions of the L5 packages. Good to know they're not. I'll keep that in mind when purchasing each upgrade, as well as do it in order so I can get dynamically pricing on the additional books.

That's not quite the way to think of the different denominational packages relationship to the original unnamed package. The question should be phrase in terms of "if I am upgrading to the Diamond price which of the packages gives me the most useful resources - general, Baptist, Reformed ...?" followed by "now that I am at the Diamond level, do any of the other packages (Diamond or below) add value equal to or exceeding the cost?"

For example, I do not expect to move up in the original unnamed package but do expect to stay near the top of both the Catholic and Anglican packages. I expect to stay mid-range in the Lutheran package and anxiously await the Orthodox package. But at any time, the package discount and major sets may change my mind.

You could choose one, the other, or both, depending on your needs. If you get both, dynamic pricing will apply for duplicated resources.

What I was thinking was totally flawed. :-) I was originally thinking the L5 denominational packages were L5 Base Collections + targeted resources for each denomination, so purchasing Diamond Baptist would have given me L5 Diamond + a whole bunch of Baptist resources. Not really the case though finding out. :-)

I've found that's the easiest way to ensure I get the best price on collections instead of trying to purchase both of them at once and having my sales rep try to configure it all, still risking me double-paying somewhere. My latest sales rep is already so swamped busy and has been extremely gracious to take me on as a customer, that I'm trying to make life easy for him. :-)
