How do I ... preferably using the Text Comparison tool but ....

1. I begin with a collection of English Bibles for which there is a reverse interlinear because these are the only ones for which I know the underlying Greek text.

2. I do a Text Comparison to see where the English translation differs:

3. What is the fastest way to identify differences in the underlying Greek to see if they affected the English?

An aside: has anyone figured out the math for the percentage difference?

I created Word Lists of the passage for AV1873 and ESV and compared them via Merge. They used different Greek words for "since, when" at the start of the verse.

There were no differences between Lists for LEB and ESV. 

However, the count for eis is one less for ESV in both comparisons, which is where ESV does not translate the word. Hence "entered Capernaum" vs. "entered into Capernaum".

Obviously, other translations chose to add "Jesus" as the referent of the initial verb.

But these differences don't come from the underlying Greek.
