Syntax search question

I have been attempting to understand the process of syntax searching for about a year now, and seem to have difficulty grasping the process.  I have watched a great video by learnlogos that helped somewhat, but i am making a mistake somewhere that causes me to come back with zero hits.  For example i am trying to build a search that matches the syntax of Matthew 28:19, to evaluated other passages that demonstrate main verb and participle relationship.  Can anyone aid me by building this syntax search and explain how you accomplished the task.  Thanks in advance.

This is one way, provided you have Cascadia Syntax Graphs.

Note the dotted line (matching skips levels) for the Terminal Node, which exposes all the participles in the adverbial clause.

Anything allows other Clause functions between the Verbal and Adverbial ones (needed for Mt 28.19-20).

If you want the Adverbial to come before the Verbal function, just drag (or cut/paste) the boxes to where you want them.

There is a solution which allows them to appear in any order, so just ask.
