How to restore your clobbered 5.2b installation

Or how to have your cake and eat it.

If you lost your stable 5.2b after installing 5.3 in 64-bit Windows, you can restore it quickly, without downloading/indexing resources:-

1. Uninstall  Logos 5 Prerequisites from the Windows account you use for 64-bit 5.3
2. Quit that account
3. Logon to your account with stable 5.2b
4. Use this link to restore 5.2b

Setup will install 32-bit Prerequisites, download Logos.msi, find 5.2b is already installed and just start it!

That was the cake, because you can have Logos 5.3 in a similar manner:-

1. Uninstall  Logos 5 Prerequisites from your 5.2b Windows account
2. Quit that account
3. Logon to your account with beta 5.3
4. Use this beta link to revive 5.3

Power users can do it more easily:-

1. Uninstall  Logos 5 Prerequisites from the relevant Windows account
2. Logon to your other account
3. Run LogosPrerequisites.msi (for 5.2b) or LogosPrerequisites-x64.msi from your user ...\Logos5\Install\Installers folder.
4. Run Logos

UPDATE:

I've run all the procedures without incident.

Power users will adopt the msi approach for quicker switching (if unsure about a current msi for 5.2b just use the first procedure initially).

I'm a little uncertain here Dave. Is this forcing a per user install of the prereqs? Or am I supposed to run the prereq install each time I switch versions?
