I've been reviewing a Methodist Saints resource (For All the Saints) which reminded me that if I were to put the calendar of Saints into Logos I would run into the following problems:
- There is no data type for the hymn assigned to the saint
- While I can make a great calendar devotional that looks just like the Logos produced saints list, I have to duplicate information on the shared saints
- I can't replicate the saints' images that go with the Logos produced saints list
- I can make a lectionary for the saints days ... but I can't use it because I'm limited to a single active lectionary on the home page ribbon ... and I certainly can't link the calendar devotional to the lectionary in a functional way other than standard URL linkage ... you have to intuit that they are two pieces of the same thing.
