To decrease the number of misunderstandings, increase the users ability to verify their library etc. I suggestion that a technical specs section be added to the catalogue page that gives:
- actual number of resources that are included as consolidations and splits make this differ from the number of volumes
- any changes from printed text - pictures, indexes etc. often differ
- the indexes applied (sermons, outlines, timeline ...)
- the datatypes sometimes e.g. that church fathers aren't given datatypes
- select metadata e.g. resource type
