Resource Following Each Other

Not sure how to ask this, but here goes.

If I have two resources linked at "A", say a bible and a commentary (part of a series). If I switch my bible to a different book, I don't want the commentary to change to the new book if it is available in the series.

Is there a way to change this.

That's how series are designed to work. If you don't want that to happen, then either:

Remove the commentary from the series.
Temporarily unlink the commentary.
Open a new, unlinked copy of the Bible, rather than switching your existing copy. You can do this simply by dragging a link to a new panel, rather than clicking on a link.

Personally, I prefer method (3).

One of the things I find most helpful is to make sure I have a panel with 'send hyperlinks here' set.

Over the years it has mitigated much sadness.
