When I was going through the Search Field wiki page and updating it (cf. forum post here), I noticed some potential problems with the search fields. I imagine you are probably aware of them, and that some of them probably have some reason behind them, but I just wanted to mention them in case.
1. The following resources have some search fields which do not appear in the Search panel drop down list:
Tischendorff apparatus: miniscules, uncials
NA27 apparatus: fath, mscule, ver
Metzger Textual Commentary mscule
2. As best I can tell the "review" and "rtitle" search fields function identically, return the same number of hits, and both correspond to the "Review Title" name.
3. It is curious how many times there is a search field title that seem to be duplicated. I wonder if it might be worthwhile to program a consolidation to improve search results:
- review and rtitle
- xrefs and crossref
- uncial and uncials
- fath and chufat
- heading and headtitle
- mini and miniscules and mscule
