Bug 5.3: Catalog Index not updating after hiding a PB

This problem reared its head again.

I had hidden a PB, restarted Logos and edition:user in Library displayed several books with a count that was one greater. When it sync'd to my other computer the same problem occurred in Library.

I fixed the Catalog Index manually and the count was corrected.

Dave - Another forum member had suggested that deleting PB's from the PBB tool would remove the resource from the library. It has always been my understanding that deleting a resource from the PBB tool would have no bearing on the compiled file within the library... that a user could build a book, compile it, and then safely delete the book from the PBB tool. Is this your understanding? If not, why are you "hiding" a PB?

There are a lot of issues with PB after the 5.3 Beta update. Compiling, syncing, etc. I'm trying to get some light on a compiling issue in another thread. Haven't seen this one yet.

This isn't a PB-specific issue as it can happen with any type of resource as per the thread I referenced.
