Do Updates to the internal DBs cause first time indexing to occur

I got an update to Biblical People, Biblical Places, Biblical Referents, and Biblical Things today. The indexing indicated 1st time indexing. Is this normal?

I have over 20,000 resources and this is taking a long time. Is there any way to be warned that this is about to happen so it could be scheduled overnight? Or is this a case of corrupted indexes?

Added: Actually, looking at the information on my newspaper display. these same databases appears to have updated yesterday also. Is this a different problem?

If "first-time indexing" happens for a second time, it's almost always due to index corruption. Your LogosError.log or LogosIndexerError.log files may contain more details. (We have a case to more clearly distinguish this in the UI, but that's not currently implemented.)

Updates to Bible Facts databases typically do not trigger reindexing.
