they are not currently available and I cant recall any statement about them coming to the mobile platforms

There are many Logos Desktop features not available in the mobile apps since they are intended to be a companion to Logos Desktop, not a replacement.

I'm on my way to Israel. Biblical Places could have been rather useful...
