I just counted one hundred ninety-eight collections in my copy of L5.
I sure would like to have some type of nesting, like folders, available to organize all these things.
Agreed
Perhaps Logos should also do a "WIN EVERYTHING" giveaway where one lucky winner receives unlocks of every package. Though a lot of computers couldn't handle it....
Doc, I've never thought of how many I actually had but your post piqued my interest. To my astonishment I found out that I have 512 collections! Now, I must confess that there probably is some cleaning up to do. [:$]
I think this has been requested in the past but now that it has been brought to the front of my mind....yes please!
You can nest collections within higher-level collections, if that helps.
That makes even more collections!
Collections need to be nested into a hierarchy much like we need to improve the Prioritization list!

Reply => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/88869/625205.aspx#625205 shows collection(s) can also be excluded. Visual representation using nested folders would need (+) include and (-) exclude indicators.

Numbering collections found 350 plus 143 user tags, which is 493 collections since every user tag is a collection.
Note: if join Faithlife group Logos Collections, can freely copy Collections by clicking Get Copy to the right of the desired document name followed by synchronizing Logos. Alternative is Select All then Action => Get Copies. Currently Collections has 316 shared documents, which are primarily dynamic rules using metadata with some manual additions/deletions.

Now, that's impressive!
Did you write all those yourself?
At least half of mine have been borrowed from the wiki or from other users suggestions. If you wrote even a majority of yours, you deserve a medal, Bruce.

Like a Purple Heart.
388 collections, and 237 tags.
Where I most notice the need to improve the handling of so many collections is in the Cited By tool. It takes a long time to move collections up and down the list, to find them, etc.
I'll add my vote to the list for better scaling of tools for Collections and tags. I have 289 collections, and 972 tags. 98.7% of my library is tagged.
... much like we need to improve the Prioritization list!
