I suggest Logos make their Greek and Hebrew fonts more proportional. Mac, Windows, Android, etc. On all the platforms throughout the app, Hebrew font is too large in comparison with Greek.
For sure. I always have my hebrews turned down to the lowest volume setting available.
Bump. I should say Hebrew is way too large in comparison with both Greek and English.
Odd, I find the reverse true in my case - but it's probably due to my eyes. Greek is fine, if a little small, but Hebrew always seems a mite too small for clarity.
That said, you might check out TOOLS> >PROGRAM SETTINGS
Look under both Program Scaling, and Text Display to adjust the fonts.
Which fonts are you set to?
What is your scaling and font size set to?
Which specific resources are you seeing this in?
Oh yes, and note that you can adjust the text size by clicking the book's thumbnail and selecting the text slider.
TC, I can not fathom your suggestions. I say that smilingly.
Brian is a heavy power user. If we had of line of Logosians arranged in expertisian order, you and Brian would be up there near the front. I'd be near the back, stretching my neck to see how long the line is.
Below is an example of my frustration. I have resources where I really don't need a 'big' view. A glance is sufficient. In the example below, the targums don't merit a large window but the large irreducable font prevents glancing at more than a few words. Yes the whole setup could be reduced (settings). But specific fonts are not adjustable outside the resource. And inside the resource, I have them ALL (hebrew/aramaic) at their lowest setting. I don't know if the font can get smaller outside Logos. And I'm reluctant to stray to far in terms of font selections for hebrew/aramaic.
Hense, the suggestion.

I see (and saw) what you're saying, that was the point of my second post - resource specific settings. But it seems to me you think the smallest font setting is still too large?
Hmm.
In Word, at 12point, SBL Greek and SBL Hebrew are the same approximate size. So you are correct, the program does scale up Hebrew.
In my defense, I like it that way. Hebrew is harder to read on my eyes than Greek, the boldness of the font I think makes me want to scale it even larger.
It does look like an adjustment is needed, I would be content to slide the scale higher for my eyes. And I would too.
Short answer: You're right.
