Why was this software released without the ability to either print or be compatible with Logos 3 (i.e. note files, prayer lists,etc)?
This has been brought up many times. I believe the answer to the first question is that very few people ever print directly from Logos (I never do, e.g.). Enough do, however that this functionality is coming. If you want to know when, look in the what's Missing link in my signature line below.
The answer to the second is that Logos intended to release 4.0 with its core functionality, while still developing the remaining functionality. For example, note file import is being tested right now in 4.0b Beta1.
While I admit I didn't use printing directly from L3 very much...(in fact I don't remember doing it even once) I also have to admit I didn't use notes much either.
In L4 I am using (making) notes all the time, and I REALLY like and use the new clippings feature (which would be more functional if I could hyperlink my clippings to notes).
This being true, having the ability to print directly from the program is now a must and I hope we get that ability soon.
There are some things, ie,, the passage guide, that I would like to be able to copy and paste into a Word document...I too usually never print from Logos 3 or 4, but would love to be able to copy and paste and then print from my Word document.
I heartily agree..the abiltiy to print and/or export the results of a search is a big thing...I know that you can currently export to Excel, but just exporting or printing to a PDF would be great....
