BUG: Editing note in Verbum on iPad Air changes the style

When editing an existing note in Verbum on the iPad, it changes the style of the note. Specifically it adds a yellow note icon to the text. Here is the before screenshot:

I then added a newline to the note. Notice how the style changed:

The expected behavior is that it should keep the existing style. The following is my version information:

  • Verbum 4.3.4 (4.3.42433)
  • iOS 7.1.2
  • iPad Air 64 GB

    I can reproduce this and it's not just on an existing note.

    If I start to create a new one as below with a blank icon set

    If I enter text in the note field, when I dismiss the virtual keyboard an icon indicator has appeared.
