Topically Searching Journals

I realize this subject has been discussed more than once, but I have a different kind of question.

Since our user made notes are searchable, if I took the time to go through my journals and copy-pasted the Table of Contents of multiple journals into a note file... wouldn't that work as a kind of topical search for them?

Granted, this would be a big undertaking, but was wonding if my thought process is correct here.

A related point/question,

Are clippings searchable? I have already created a clipping "collection" containing the ToC of my counseling resources.

I'm wondering now if I should have made that a note file instead so that It would be searchable... (although I think it is a bit easier to make a clipping than a note)

The journals from Galaxie will be (are?) imminently searchable by words in title/subtitle. This change is in some form of implementation as we speak. Using the search function, type in "Header:xxxx". I believe that some of the journals have this already implemented and others are forthcoming.

It's heading:xxx, and most of the journals are already searchable in this way (if you have the latest updates).
