Midi Hymnal and Logos Hymnal sound not working again????

For a while Steve Greens Midi Hymnal did not work. Then it worked again! (I like to use it for my devotions.) Now, it's not working again.
Any ideas? I am confused a bit (or a lot? *smile*) because last time it happened I could still play the midi hymnal from L3. Now I can't ............
I have sound enabled. My Windows Media Player plays music.
When I open L3 (I have sound enabled from L3 Tools), I DO hear the Logos music while signing on (which I like!)
When I open L4 (I have sound enabled), I DO hear the Logos music (which I like and wish were a few bars longer, please)
Am quite willing to be patient if I knew that Logos knew there was a problem and are working on it ..........
However, if I am the problem -- that I've messed up somehow ......... (again! *smile* ) .......
I would sure like to know!
Can anyone tell me (besides my loverly wife whose birthday is today - Epiphany! - if I am the problem?
Philippians 4: 4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand..........

Can you play other MIDI files? For example, go to www.cyberhymnal.org and try to play one there. Does it work? If you download one, can you play it from your computer?
If you have XP, click on the sound icon and open the dialog that shows the different volume levels for different file types. Find the one for midi and see if it's muted or the slider is pulled all the way down. (I don't think it works the same in Vista or Win7.)
Steve Green Midi hymnal is working for me.

Richard! Blessings! Indeed!
Have just spent 1/2 hour with your ideas ... but to no avail ..........
Am going out for a few hours with my beautiful "birthday girl" wife, and will try again later ..
The problem, though, is me, I think

Since this post was from a while ago, I'm not sure if your problem has been fixed or not. But, I have just recently installed Logos 4 and I couldn't hear any MIDI hymns or listen to my Greek audio Bible. Then I read a post that suggested making sure that my Windows Media Player was at version 10 or better. (I think this might be mainly with an XP system.) You can read it here: See the last article on this page.
If you are still having the problem as listed in your original post and you have an XP system, you might want to try upgrading your Windows Media Player if it is not at least version 10.
I hope this helps!
