Are Notes very sluggish or is it me?

I imported my L3 notes.  Process worked great.  But now I find that I am struggling with extreme sluggishness when I try to edit or add any new notes.  Is this normal right now?  It is very distracting and makes the note useless as I have to wait an extremely long time as I type.

    Mark, I am not a big notes users, but I have seen other users say that the longer their notes were, the more sluggish they becames

    Some users have reported sluggishness typing in notes when sync was running.

    Importing notes creates a lot of data to sync. It would be helpful to know what your computer specs are, and whether or not sync was running when you were experiencing this slowness.
