Typing in Greek

Hello,

I am currently taking a Greek course through my college, and am working through a workbook via Logos. However, I am having difficulty figuring out how to type in Greek in the workbook. I have tried to use the "g: ..." as in the bible word study guide, but to no avail. Any insight would be excellent.

Hi Bryan, welcome to the Logus user forums!

What probably will help you most (especially when you'll need accents, breathing marks and the like in your course) is to use the Logos tool Shibboleth https://www.logos.com/shibboleth to compile the text.

I use the Logos ancient language keyboards. Once installed, set a shortcut key to toggle your normal English language keyboard and the Greek keyboard. Then you can type easily without having to use another program, and copying and pasting.

I echo NB.Mick's suggestion. I use Shibboleth for both Greek and Hebrew. The ancient language keyboards are nice IF you use them regularly. There are so many accents, breathing marks and vowels in ancient languages that I forget which keyboard does which Hebrew or Greek character. I find Shibboleth is best for the novice or occasional user.
