I realized that for years people have been calling for multi-book volumes such as The Complete Works of Frances A. Shaffer to be broken down into their individual books for years and for whatever reason Logos cannot or will not do this, but it is still a pain for the user to find books they own. Logos is intended to make things easier, not harder!
With that introduction, my solution is as follows: individual “hyperlink books” can be created for each individual book. I call it a “hyperlink book” because all it consists of is a hyperlink to the appropriate place in the multi-book volume where the book is located. The advantage of doing this is that users will see the book in their library when they search for it and they have the ability to tag individual books.
Two ways this could be done. Individual users could create and share Personal Books or Logos could do this so that these “books” will show up in our mobile devices (mobile devices do not support PBs).
Of course Logos could save us all a lot of trouble and just break up all these multi-book volumes into their individual books!
