I would like to suggest that you work with http://www.bcfministries.org/to get their Self Confrontation Manual in Libronix format.
Thanks
I would second this. Having been through the study twice I think it is a fantastic resource.
Yes I am thirding (?) this suggestion. The self-confrontation manual is the syllabus for the first course of the Biblical counseling Training program. Most people both laymen and pastors take just the 1st course to put themselves on the right track with God. It is a really really good in depth guide on how to experience and contentment thru all lives trials and testings and how to help others deal with situations biblically.
I have been taking this course it is used in many ministries like Gospel for Asia, Campus Crusade for Christ, Calvary Chapel churches ect. It would be an absolute boon to be able to fly over the many scripture references in Logos while studying this course. ( There are only about a million of them) and building a bible memory verse guide (when Logos 4 finally has it , Right Bob?). The book is about 477 pages long with plenty of supplement material that could be printed out. It would have made the course so much better!
Please, Please look into this!
Robert, how good can it be if you had to repeat it twice? I had to repeat Kindergarten twice, and that was not good. :-)
Now that's just plain funny.
Hear, hear! Yes, please! Self-Confrontation Manual for Logos Bible Software!
Welcome to the forum Matthew!
Your participation and pushing the resources you need are what make Logos such a great place.
Wondering if there has been any progress on this since my original post?
the ability to add it to my searches and to have immediate access to the many scripture references would be a blessing.
Logos made an announcement around the beginning of the year that they will not be developing any more titles in the Libronix format as they are phasing it out and can no longer invest the resources and manpower in that direction. In the meantime, any titles we purchase that already have Libronix resources developed, we can have the Libronix downloadable files for them, as well as the Logos 4/5 versions. I am not familiar with the resource you mention, but it sounds like you should be able to create a Tools-Personal Book with it, and then run your own searches on it. You simply need to have it converted into a .docx format. However, if you are suggesting Logos license it for their current systems (which technically is not what you said), and for your purchase, then you would also have the additional functionality of being able to run it in your apps (Personal Books do not currently run in the apps, but if you entered it rather as a Document-Note then it would come up--minus the search features). Also, you could enter it both ways for your own use, contenting yourself to do the search features from your Logos 5 engine. I'm not all that well versed on Libronix, but I think they also have a Personal Book feature--if you meant to say Libronix, that is. Libronix is a trademark Logos is moving away from, although it once appeared to be their unobtrusive approach to getting different publishers to use their library system (like Standard and Thomas Nelson). However, it does seem that Thomas Nelson still prefers to market their wares under the titles "eBible" and "Libronix" (http://www.thomasnelson.com/reference/bible-software), so be blessed!
