Installed TJL12 and BS 1-90

With all the reported problems with installation and finding resources on L4, I just wanted to say that I just installed the Theological Journal Library Volume 12 and Bibliotheca Sacra Volumes 1-90 without incident. They installed the appropriate number of new resources on L3 and as soon as I opened L4, it started 'Preparing Your Library' and shortly thereafter the new resources are all available in L4. All I had to do was insert the CD and follow the instructions as they appeared.

TJL#12 installed without issue here also.

It's my first experience with TJL, and I'm finding some good stuff in there. Reading JETS at present (Journal of Evang. Theol. Society vol 51.)

Were they *.lbxlls files in L3 and L4? For a given file what is the version in L3 (in Help | About this Resource) and L4 (Resource Information)?

I'm not Alex, but they appear to be identical files in the L3 and L4 resource folders.

For example, the Journal of the Evangelical Society Vol 51 is GS_JETS_51.lbxlls in version 3 (5,141,288 bytes.) It's the same file name and size in the L4 resources folder, and the Windows FC (file compare) finds no differences.

They are all *.lbxlls files in both programs as Allen said. Resource info also identical versions in each.

I've only just caught up with the several posts on the repeated downloads etc. I'm experiencing the same problems as others with the new Galaxie products. It sure would be nice if we could get some feedback from Logos about this even if it's just an acknowledgement of the problem. Assuming it keeps happening I'm going to turn off the internet option, but that just defeats the purpose of the whole thing.

I just opened L4 for the first time today, and I got a 4.4MB update download (looks like an updated resource). After the restart, here comes the 216.3 MB download as usual - Ugh!
