How to add a mobile device to "Manage mobile devices"
I have Logos installed on an iPhone and and iPad. Only the iPhone is showing up. Logos works great on the iPad and all my library is available, but when I go to my desktop Logos Library it does not show up as an option under mobile devices. I had an older iPad with Logos that I removed at one point and it may have been this iPad. My question is how do I add or restore this iPad so it shows up as an option in the desktop library.
Thanks

John,
I believe the only thing you actually have to do is install the app and log in. That should register the device with Logos.

If it is installed then I need to uninstall and reinstall?

I missed that it was already working AND showing your library, which means you are signed in.
I don't know if it's problematic for you, with a lot of resources already downloaded for offline use, but I would shoot in the dark and say, yes give an uninstall /reinstall cycle a try.
Otherwise, wait for someone who knows iphone better to provide a suggestion. I will gladly reaffirm that I'm shooting in the dark when it comes to apple anything.

I just reinstalled and it worked. I do not have lots of books downloaded so it was not a big deal. Perhaps there should be a way of restoring an accidentally removed device or perhaps there is one already.

John,
Glad it worked! I didn't think until just now to suggest (if it happens again) a simple log off and log back on to the mobile app.

You can't... at least not on the iOS apps (I am iGNORANT about Android). The apps are designed for "one user." The devices are designed for "one user." Consequently, Logos hasn't created a sign out procedure.

Android works the same way. "Sign out" would be equivalent to uninstalling/reinstalling the app (because it would need to delete all your personal data and reset everything for the new user) and it's much less error prone to uninstall/reinstall than to write a bunch of extra code that deletes everything.

Fair enough. I knew Android didn't support it, but since it was once claimed that Ios was more developed than Android, I figured why not. :-)
Yay, I learned something!

I see the need to be able to remove old devices, but often the names are the same or similar that it is easy to remove an active device. It would be helpful to be able to add a device back that was removed, especially if books are being downloaded to the removed device. It was not really an issue until the desktop library became part of the download management system for the mobile devices.
Thanks all for the help and feedback.
