- it would be nice to have some of the v4 highlighting capable of being placed on the menu bar as i had wtih v3. there it would not consume any of the resource space.
I'm guessing this is not what you mean, but just in case it is sufficient ... you can put the icon to open the highlighting window on the menu bar. Just drag it there from the Tools menu with your mouse.
I second this. It would be nice to just drag our favorite highlighting styles to the Shortcut bar, and be able to turn on or off certain highlighting styles from there. It feels more natural and a better use of screen real estate.
You know that once you have selected a highlighting style, you can easily duplicate it by pressing {CTRL} K?
I dragged the highlight palette to one of the several open windows I have. Then when I pressed F11 to go into reading mode from that window, I could select the highlight by moving my cursor toward the top of the reading screen and picking a different highlight.
Of course, whatever was my last highlight color, will be duplicated with {CTRL} K again.
I think this should be a 'right click' option. Note-taking and highlighting should be easier to produce.
<CTRL>+K only applies last-used Highlighting style. Still useful, but not really when you consistently use more than 1 style at the same time.
Logos, please allow styles to be dragged to the shortcut bar!
