Bug: Unable to drag-and-drop Favorites into folders

I used to be able to drag a new favorite on top of a folder and drop it in.  Now it no longer works.  I get the circle with a line through it:

If I drag it to a folder that already has links in it, that folder will open up automatically (which is new I think), and I can put the link in that way.  But empty folders won't open, and I can't find any way of putting links in them.

Todd, how did you manage to get a screen capture to capture your mouse pointer? Whenever I try that (Ctrl+PrintScreen) it gets everything but the mouse pointer. Or did you draw it back in manually after the fact?

Incidentally, I have this problem with dragging to empty Favorites folders too, but I don't think it's anything new. I seem to recall MJ Smith reporting this quite a while ago.

Really?  Then how do you get them in folders?  I often create a new favorite, then create a new folder to put it in, then move it in.  This is the first time I've had a problem. Nevertheless, it's still a problem, and a bug, I say.

P.S.  I use SnagIt and it has a hotkey (Ctrl-Shift-P) to capture mouse actions like menus and dragging.

Actually, this problem has only ever occurred before when the empty folder was the last folder in the Favorites list. Anywhere else and it has worked. I used to have to drag a new item into the empty space below all the folders to put it at a top level item in Favorites, and then from there drag it into the empty folder. Once the folder had something in it, I could drag more things in there. But you're right, this does appear to be completely broken now. I can't drag into any empty folder regardless of its position in the list or whether I'm dragging something from already within Favorites.

    Bug!
