It appears you or a loaded layout was searching during index rebuilding. There is a case in our bug database about this and it is due to a rare OS file locking issue. The best thing to do is load a blank layout and possibly wait until indexing is over to start searching - it's hard to say which terms caused which resources to get searched resulting in this crash so the best solution is to wait until indexing is done.
Thanks, George.
I am running Logos 4a SR-2 (4.01.3.4767) and I similarly am getting a crash on start up. Logos download a patch/resources yesterday (4.4 MB) and I have had this problem ever since. Logos reports that it is preparing the library and then crashes at the indexing stage and forces a shut down (with the option to search on line for a solution or just close the programme). Sometimes the programme shuts down, sometimes it stays open.
I have tried opening Logos with blank layout, but no joy.
I am running Logos on Windows 7 Home Premium and my specs are as follows:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7CPU 960 @ 3.20GHz 3.33GHz
6.00 GB RAM
1T Hard Drive (running at 7,500 rpm) - there is ample space on the hard drive as this is a new desktop
I have attached the log files for your kind assistance and viewing pleasure! (There were two log files, I am assuming the one marked indexing is the relevant one. I attached both in case as I have not used logging before.)
Thanks in advance for the kind assistance!

Apologies, it only seems to allow me to attach one log file per post. This is the other (I guess irrelevant) log file.
Andy,
This is a different issue to mine, where L4 crashed whereas the Indexer crashed for you. I've seen this error before but there has been no resolution from Logos. If you start a new thread and post the indexer log there you should receive more attention.

Hi Andy, I looked over your logs and you appear to have a corrupt resource. Please grab this file
1072.Logos4Indexer.NLog.config
and make two copies named Logos4Indexer.NLog.config and Logos4.NLog.config and place them into the Logos Log Files folder and then reproduce the issue - this way we can determine which one it is.

Hi George, I posted this issue on another thread (as per Dave's kind suggestion) and Bradley suggested that I delete the "C:\Users\Andrew Evans\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\xy4kviyc.k3i\LibraryIndex\" file and allow Logos to reindex (see post http://community.logos.com/forums/p/9117/72600.aspx#72600). I have followed Bradley's instructions and all appears to be well. Bradley suggested that I send the index.lxn and supplemental.lxn in. I tried attaching these files to the post, but they were too large even when zipped. I'll happily try and email them to either Bradley or yourself if you wish. Just let me know what is the most appropriate email address and I will give it a whirl.
Thanks again for your kind assistance!
No problem, it would be great if we could have those files. You may zip them and upload them to the free service http://www.megaupload.com/ it might take a little while and it will provide a link when it's done. Thanks.
