I spent a good part of December 31st searching and reading the Logos 4 forum and wiki regarding upgrading and installing. I then purchased the Platinum upgrade, made sure my laptop was plugged in (doesn't sleep or hibernate at all when on AC power), signed in and went to New Year's Eve service followed by a get-together. Came home, went straight to bed, got up on New Year's Day and with a jiggle of the mouse - there was the Logos 4 home page ready to go with all my resources indexed and ready.

I've spent the last six days (a few hours a day) reading through the forum and going "WOW, I can do that?????" and then trying each thing out on my own. So many things where I said "this would be nice to be able to do" I found out I actually could do, or I knew that it would be coming down the pike at a later date.

So, thank you all for helping to make my Logos 4 introduction so seamless and so PROFITABLE (spiritually)! Thanks to the folks at Logos for this great product and their great responsiveness.

I too echo that "Thank You" for this great new software! My installation took the time to do all that indexing yet was smooth and works great. As soon as all my notes / highlighting from L3 get ported across, L4 will be my main use. As mentioned, it just does so many things so well and so fast! Can't wait till it's fully ready for prime time!

Also got to attend the first Morris Proctor L4 seminar, which was excellent, and heard from Logos president and key team people directly. Their heart for making a tool for ministry really impressed me! Thanks again!

[:D] Of course now I'm going through "Suggestions" and "iPhone" and actually seeing if there is anything I can start contributing anywhere! And looking at PC Beta to follow how "Notes Importing" is working, and waiting for the MP Seminars manuals to arrive via UPS ...

I agree with this, too! There are all kinds of very cool things that help make the routine segment of my studies much, much easier. I've had L4 since it came out and discovered today ([:O]) that a right-click on a Greek or Hebrew word will let me copy-and-paste the lemma without any fuss. Right at the moment, that's a BIG help. But there are other neat things, too.

And I get to see Morris Proctor (again after an L3 this past summer) in February in North Carolina for an L4 seminar! [8-|] wheeee!
