copying the location of a footnote

I'm trying to copy the location of a footnote. I know how to copy the location of a specific passage in a text (in this case, a commentary) in order to turn it into a hyperlink in a notes document (Resource panel --> Copy Location As). But I have not yet found a way to do this with regard to a footnote within the commentary. When I right click on the footnote link, the reference is to the current heading/article, not to the footnote. I was hoping to put a hyperlink in my notes document that goes directly to the footnote, not just the milestone or the passage that the footnote is in. Is there even a way to do this, or do my notes need to just say "footnote a" and then link to the surface passage?

If I understand you correctly, you have a resource referenced in another resource in your library (perhaps a foot note in one commentary referencing another commentary. You want to hyperlink the text of the resource referenced in the footnote. There are a couple of options:

1. You could highlight the footnoted text and include it in the note document you are working with

2. You could navigate to the referenced text and copy the URL (found in pane tab on the upper left) and then paste it into the note document

3. You can do the same as in "2" but create a hyperlink using the <hyperlink> function in the notes pane.
