I have a new computer AND  a Logos 4 disk...are all the books on this disk? Or do I need to download online?

Yes and no. But there are probably significant updates waiting for you. You may be able to shorten the overall download time, if some of your resources are up to date (I would expect this). If you just download expect multi-Gigabyte downloads (depending on which base package you bought).

If you have data caps for your internet connection, you may want to do a full install from the discs before downloading/updating anything. If that's not an issue for you, let it download whenever it wants.

I did a second install of L4 two weeks ago using the iso image availible for download. I assume your disk is probably the same as that.

I have Platinum with a few extra resources. After the install there was 2.2 gig of updates to download. My L4 resources folder is nearly 8gig, so using the disc significantly drops what needs to be downloaded, but as Richard said, there are still significant updates. I'm  running 4.0a SR2
