Hi Kevin, are you able to reproduce this issue every time? Is your indexer finished?

It may be the case that something funky happened during the first phase of the installation. From Bradley's post, download this resource
http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LDLS4Installer/BetaCoreResources.lbsupd (640MB)
This is the reverse interlinear resource, it will have to re-index. This is from Bradley's post here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/791/6984.aspx
Let me know how this goes for you.

Followed the above instructions and left it overnight to re-index and it still is crashing.

Unfortunately, the initial log files you posted aren't showing the actual error. This can sometimes happen if the program crashes before it can finish writing the log. Can you please reproduce the problem and post another set of log files? In all cases, please keep submitting the report to Microsoft (if you are offered the option); we are collecting these crash reports and can often diagnose the underlying problem from them (though usually the log files are more helpful).
One other thing to try is clicking a rating star (on any book) or adding a tag; this causes My Library to be reindexed, which might flush out any bad data that's preventing the searching. (Depending on the speed of your computer, wait between 5-30 seconds after setting a rating for indexing to finish.)

I am guessing it was the issue with the bad data in the index since clicking a rating fixed it.
